Mentorship Program

We care about the next generation of fishos and want to provide them with support and education to learn the art of sustainable fishing, not only for the future but also to provide them with a sense a purpose and to build their confidence.

Fishing provides youngsters an opportunity to get out of the house and onto the water, thereby living a healthier lifestyle. Within our Mentorship Program we:

• supply our young affiliates with a range of tackle
• provide information on boat & water safety
• give them tips to fish for their target species
• provide assistance to independently promote their fishing achievements on social media where appropriate
• support them with any questions they may have
• hook them up with other fishos where possible

all while working closely with their parents to ensure it doesn’t interfere with studies etc.

Each year we select 2 or 3 keen junior anglers to add to our Program. If you are between the ages of 16 and 21 years and interested in joining our Mentorship Program or know of someone we can help, email dirtytacklefishing@gmail.com.
